Hyde Park Produce was taken over in 1996 by Larry and his father Lawrence “Yoyo” Damico. Yoyo had been in the produce business since he was a grade-schooler in the 1940s and Larry started to work with his Dad when he was only 14 years old.
The fourth generation has joined in with the addition of Larry’s sons, Larry III, aka Little Larry, and Anthony. The first Hyde Park Produce grew thanks to you, our loyal customers, who also encouraged us to move to a bigger location.
With our customers’ support, the new HPP opened on January 23, 2008 in our current location. We are a family and we hope you will feel that when you walk through our doors. We welcome our customers to “Our Dream!”
